Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and still to this day calls Pittsburgh home. In 1998, I enrolled at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and graduated in 2000 from AIP with an Associate Of Science Degree in Web Site Administration. The Art Institute provided me with a forum to display my creative side as well as hone my professional skills.
I've developed my Flash skills by creating interactive and linear e-brochures early on in my career as a web developer. As with each client that I have had the pleasure to service, my skills have expanded. In 2002, I began learning and developing with Microsoft's .NET Platform, primarily writing web-based applications in C#. My responsibilities included in the developing Front-end: designing the interfaces, writing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Back-end: IIS configuration and creating tables and stored procedures on SQL Server and creating XML documents; as well as integrating them with .NET.
In my spare time, I like to work with other languages and platforms that I don't usually have the opportunity to use while at work. I developed a few applications using Cocoa and Core Data using Objective-C for the Mac as well as getting involved in developing Adobe AIR applications using the Flex and AIR SDK's.
My goal is to always take myself to the next level, not just learning new techniques, but using them in a practical and user-friendly environment. The Internet is a massive medium for information, marketing, e commerce and business-to-business management, but we have only begun to see its true potential. The next generation of the Internet has arrived.
